Vardhaman was coming up with Automatic Storage & Retrieval System for their finished goods storage. The warehouse has approximately 2640 sq meter of surface area and 25 meter height. Since the warehouse is robotic & automated is unmanned except the dispatch & loading/unloading section. The material stored is finished textile goods. The warehouse solution was sourced from ITALY. The system was to be designed considering following factors.

Ex-buzz worked closely with the client team in coordination with the rack supplier on the design & project management to ensure all the parameters are met to the intent of the project. Ex Buzz did the piping for sprinkler installation using grooved technology to ensure speedy installation and hot work was also avoided to ensure safety from any hazard. Special supports were designed as per the site requirements to meet the height criteria. The flow switches from each zone were interfaced and integrated with the motorized doors of the warehouse area such that it shall close in case of fire. The fire panel was interfaced with their existing network & fire office (2km away) could have real time information on their P C. The fire system used was CerberusPRO from SIEMENS. The configuration tool and the battery calculator were very helpful as the client was convinced of the calculations since they were derived from authentic software.
